Why You Should Love Every Moment of Who You Are

There’s no sense in kicking yourself for something that already happened. Regrets? Is there value in feeling like you did your life wrong? After all, it lead you to where you are now.

The best part is you can change it. You are autonomous, you make your own decisions, and if you feel otherwise take a small moment to shake the idea you are not in control of your life.

Take a second, take a breath, and think about how you got where you are today. Don’t think about the bad, the can’t, the couldn’t, the didn’t, the have not’s. Why? Because you’re not done yet. The book doesn’t end badly on the second page. And why regret a moment that contributed to your personhood.

Why do you think the way you do? Why do you love who and what you do now? What makes you smile, laugh, cry, or sad? What makes you who you are now? It’s who you already have been. It’s your existence then, that makes you who you are now.

Why would you regret your existence? You have the power to make your own life what you want it to be. Think about how lucky you already are to be able to read this. If this is reaching you right now, you are fortunate enough to own technology, you can read, and you are here, breathing. Pretty incredible already.

So sometimes you might think that you are fighting a losing battle, you aren’t where you want to be, or you can’t find any motivation or inspiration. Remember that one moment, one act, does not define you. Your book is not over, keep writing, and make your pages count.
