How do you know when you love someone? Is there an exact moment when you become “in love?”
I remember being younger and thinking I couldn’t wait to fall in love. I remember I thought that one day I would find “the one.” I thought you only fall in love once, and I was convinced that true love was real.
You can’t put words to the feeling when you fall for someone. It’s a whirlwind of emotions that can’t be described, you just feel it, and you call it love.
I don’t think there is such thing as “the one.” I know love is real, because like any other emotion, we gave this feeling a name. Is it special? Yes. Unique? I guarantee nothing else will compare. But is it an innate, destined moment? I don’t think so.
Love, like the rest of your life, is an adventure. You may only find it once, you may only need to. Maybe you find it everywhere, multiple times, each its own and unique experience. You can love whoever you want, whatever you want, and however you want.
That’s what’s so spectacular about love. You can’t describe it, you can’t anticipate it, and you definitely can’t stop it.
Don’t run from love. It might hurt, and maybe it’s not permanent, but it’s worth it.
