Create Positivity and Take Your Own Advice

Take your own advice.

You need to be happy and fill your time on this earth with things that excite you. You need to put yourself first sometimes and not feel bad about it. You need to take control. You need to take your own advice.

If anyone else felt so anxious I would tell them,

It’s not worth

Life is too short.

Put yourself first.

I should take my own advice.

Wouldn’t you? If you saw someone you loved and truly cared about in such a wreck, would you not tell them all these wonderful things? Tell them it would be ok, move on, be happy, and take control? I would. I wouldn’t understand why someone would keep themselves in such a position. I wouldn’t understand why something in life could be more important than your own happiness. If you were so upset and didn’t do something to make it better, I wouldn’t understand.

Now it’s my turn, or your turn if this is you too, to be in a position so desolate and depressing. To be caught in a vicious cycle. Telling yourself this is ok.

Welcome to misery. Where company is loved and passion is forgotten.

If you’ve taken what feels like a few steps backwards lately, have minimal self control, and lack motivation, welcome! If you do not feel these things but are experiencing other symptoms of depression, moodiness, or confusion, I welcome you too!

However comforting to know you are not alone, this is no place to stay. Remind yourself that taking a step backward only leaves you more room to move forward. It is important to feel sad in order to appreciate being happy.

You do have control.

You can make good things happen.

You are meant for better things.

Sometimes this means doing something out of your comfort zone. You might have to let other people down and put yourself first. Maybe more steps in different directions are required, whatever they are, to take you where you need to be.

Wherever you are and however you feel, you are not alone. Things will happen as they should. Make things happen, take control, and take your own advice.
