The World Is Your Mirror: Learn to Love What You See

The world is your mirror.

What you see is a reflection of yourself. The world looks back at you and shows you little pieces of who you are. This is your mirror.

I hear many people deny it, and maybe it’s because they don’t like what they see. Or maybe they just don’t understand it.

The Universe is neutral – we assign meaning.

Whether you see it or not, the world is filled with both love and hate. But you only know what you see, and if it’s not staring back at you how would you know that it’s there?

It’s not that we literally see who we are through other people, but our reaction to our surroundings reveals a lot about ourselves.

Take a real mirror for instance. What do you think when you look in the mirror? Are you beautiful? Do you have a nice smile? is the person looking back at you kind, smart, and loving? Maybe you only see a crooked tooth or a face full of blemishes. Maybe you feel the need to change the things you see, or turn away from the mirror completely.

What you see is simply your perspective on what already exists.

How you see it is completely up to you.

“It’s all in your head”

I saw a medium a few years ago and she told me that everything I was going through was all in my head. She didn’t say exactly, but I knew what it meant for me. When we’re going through something I think we play it up in our head. Not that traumatic things don’t happen, but things happen and we decide what is traumatic and what is good.

We forget how much power we have to change our surroundings. How we can easily change the way we think about the world around us.

The world is your mirror.

It shows you who you are, how you feel, what you see. The mirror doesn’t alter the image, it reflects it. What we see and how we feel are choices. We make them, we can change them.

It is all in your head and how you choose to see the world is up to you.

Looking in the mirror.

Be mindful of what you think when you see your reflection.

Change what you say if it’s not bringing out your best.

You’ll find that once you master this, you can change the way you see the world.
